Saturday, 15 March 2003, 10.33 PM Red Nose Day reached huge numbers of people on BBC ONE this year as they sat on their Muggle sofas on Comic Relief night. 13.1 million watched to see the winner of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, but the biggest audience was reached around the Harry Potter spoof when 14.7 million sat spellbound. That's a lot of people. A mighty £35 million has been raised for Comic Relief so far this year. |
