Shares in Kleenex soared tonight as disappointed fans of all that is random waved goodbye to Jo Brand, who lost out to John in the student vote. In a "Jo disappointed" shocker, the stand-up finally admitted just before her exit that she would liked to have stayed, despite being very cool about her interest throughout her scholarship, to the clear sympathy of the audience and cohorts.

She fluffed her opening verse of Downtown, and becomes the third to leave, after Fearne's disappointing performance of Driftwood let her down (and out) yesterday.
