Friday, 28 February 2003, 5.41 PM There's a healthy dose of Comic Relief shenanigans showing this weekend on that box in the corner of the room. Tonight, (Friday 28 Feb) part two of Celebrity Driving School. Nadia Sawalha and Natalie Cassidy get behind the wheel for the first time. Paul O'Grady, Gareth Gates and Simon Day go up against the theory test. (8.30 pm) On Saturday three teams work round the clock on community projects in Africa in Comic Relief... The Ultimate Makeover (6.40 pm). Davina McCall and Nick Knowles help build a community centre near Nairobi, Kenya. In Liverpool, rum lot Nick Hancock, Anna Ryder Richardson, Phil Turner and Joe Swift transform a play centre for underprivileged kids, furnishing it with new play equipment, an adventure playground and a vegetable patch. Lenny Henry helps Gordon Ramsay prepare a meal for 100 children in Tanzania. Trouble is, there's no kitchen so it's up to the pair to chop wood, make a fire, russle up a giant pot of 'ugali' - and then clean up. |
